1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniformCV platform ("Service") operated by Digifox s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company with registered seat at Trávníky 322/7, 691 52 Kostice, company identification number 23894865("UniformCV", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service description
UniformCV is a software-as-a-service product that allows institutions (universities, international study programmes, HR agencies and similar organisations) to design branded CV templates, share a unique public form link with their applicants, and download the resulting submissions as professionally rendered PDF CVs.
The Service consists of two participant roles:
- Institution — the paying customer who creates templates, collects submissions and downloads CVs.
- Applicant — the natural person who fills in a template via a public link and whose personal data is processed by UniformCV on behalf of the Institution.
3. Accounts and eligibility
To use the Institution features you must create an account, provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the organisation you represent.
4. Licence grant
Subject to these Terms and timely payment of the applicable fees, UniformCV grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. No rights are granted beyond those expressly set out in these Terms.
5. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the Service only to:
- create CV templates branded with your own logo and visual identity;
- collect applicant submissions that you have a lawful basis to process;
- generate and download branded PDF CVs for evaluation, archival or onward transfer consistent with your privacy notice to the applicants.
You must not:
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works of the Service, except where permitted by mandatory law;
- upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or infringes third-party rights;
- use the Service to send unsolicited communications or to harvest personal data beyond your declared purpose;
- resell, sublicence or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone offering.

8. Refund policy
You may request a refund of an unused tier fee within 14 days of purchase. A tier is considered used once a published template under it has received its first applicant submission. Applicant download fees are non-refundable once a PDF has been generated. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
9. Warranty and disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniformCV disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure against every possible threat.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UniformCV's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you have paid to UniformCV during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. UniformCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
11. Data protection and DPA
When UniformCV processes applicant personal data on behalf of the Institution, it does so as a "processor" under Article 28 GDPR. The terms of that processing are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by closing your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or use the Service in a way that exposes UniformCV or applicants to legal risk. Upon termination we will delete or return Institution data in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered Institutions by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the change, you may terminate your account and request a pro-rated refund of unused active-period extensions.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved in good faith shall be submitted to the competent Czech courts. This choice does not deprive consumers or EU data subjects of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of their local law, including the GDPR.
